Halfpricesoft Online: How to Set up Employee PTO (Paid Time Off) Plan

Halfpricesoft Online Payroll and Time Tracking system allow you to manage your company any time, anywhere. Here is guide about how to set up employee PTO plan to track employee sick time and vacation time.

Set up Employee PTO Plan


1. Sign in Halfpricesoft Online System as Admin user.

2. Click the left menu "Employee List" to view all employees

3. Click the edit icon to view/edit the employee PTO settings.

3.1 If you want to print PTO information on paycheck stubs, check the option "Print Paid Time Off on Pay Stub".

3.2 You can use paid time leave plan to track to paid sick time, paid family time or others

For example: If the maximum paid sick time for one year is 40 hours (5 days), the PTO rate accrual by working hours should be 0.0192.



3.3 You can set up your vacation plan.

For example: If the maximum vacation for one year is 80 hours (10 days), the PTO rate accrual by working hours should be 0.0385.


Note: If your company does not use PTO feature, leave all settings with 0.
