1. Do you just need the payroll features?
If yes, we would like to suggest ezPaycheck payroll software. It is more user-friendly and easier to use.

Note: ezAccounting payroll feature is similar to ezPaycheck payroll software. But ezAccounting also includes the bookkeeping feature (i.e.: invoice, receipt, tracking income and cost, and more). It will take a longer time to set up.


2. Answers to your questions:

1). Price
Yes, we offer 25% software license discount to nonprofits. Please let us know how many licenses(ie: single-user license, 2-user license or others) you need. We will send you the special purchase link.

2). Deductions
Yes, you can add the customized deductions to handle 401K, insurance, local tax and more.

3) PTO
Right now, our software offers two categories only.

4) Payroll events
Our software does not record payroll event. Please let us know if you have any special feature requests (ie: adjust payrate or issue extra taxable paycheck or non-taxable payment.)


5) Import hours
Our software does not import hours. For salay employees, you do not need to enter the hours to create paychecks. For hourly rate employees, you need to enter the hours manually.

3. Extra information

1) We offer the free trial of all software. Please feel free to test drive with no obligation. No credit card is required.

2) Our software can handle the payment for both W2 employees and 1099 contractors.

3) Our software can handle the MISC payment also. For example: pay vendor bills, pay reimbursement for mileage, lunch or others.

4) Our software can handle multiple accounts on the same computer with no extra charge.

Hello Team ezAccounting,

We, the YMCA of Paterson are currently evaluating you ezAccounting product.
We have come across some hurdles that we need to overcome before making a purchasing decision.

1 - is there a non-profit price?
2 - I know we can add custom deductions, which we have ,as a %, (retirement, 403b, NJUSI/WFHC and NJELI. Is there a way to add more custom deductions, ex: Health, Dental, Vision ins, etc. as $ deductions?
3 - Is there a way to separate PTO into separate buckets, ex: Vacation, Personal Time, Sick Time?
4 - How do we document payroll events such as bereavement, etc?
5 - We currently use TimeXpress to track employee hours. Is there a way to import the employee time from the TimeXpress MSSQL database directly, or better yet, download the data straight from the Facial Recognition time clock directly?
