1. If you created 2023 paychecks with ezPaycheck 2022:

- You might withhold the higher/lower federal/state taxes on the first paycheck.
Federal and many states released the new 2023 tax tables.

- There is no change of SSN tax and Medicare tax rates in 2023.

- It will not affect the Year 2022 tax forms

2. If you have not issued the checks, you can delete them, and create them again.
Note: Please backup your data before any major change.

3. If you have issued the checks, the employees can get refund/pay more when they file 2023 year-end tax report next year.

I am getting ready to purchase my update for 2023. However I made a mistake and did the first payroll for 2023 before I made this update. I misunderstood and thought I had to complete the W3 & W2's for 2022 before the update. Is this going to mess up my W3 & W2's for 2022. How can this be corrected? Will you please give me some instruction on what I need to do to make both 2022 & 2023 correct.
