ezPaycheck can work for you. Please make sure

- you set up this employee with correct yearly salary
- your company pay period is semi-monthly now

When you generate a check, you will see three dates there. Pay Start, Pay End, Pay Date

If you pay employee for 3/16/2014- 3/31/2014, and pay him advance on March 20, you can use the following dates:

Pay Start=3/16/2014,
Pay End = 3/31/2014,
Pay Date= 3/23/2014

hi. I set ezPaycheck payroll software up this morning. I am trying to input a paycheck for employees that get paid semi monthly. however they get an advance check half way between there pay date. how do I show that advance on the stub with out changing there income amount?
