Hi RaeJean,

Thank you for contacting us. I think ezPaycheck payroll software should work for you. However, each company is unique. I would like to invite your download and try our software 30 days free before purchasing it. The only limitation is the trial version will print TRIAL image on paychecks. You can enter the key code to remove it later. And your data will stay.

Here the answers to your questions.

1. ezPaycheck is $89 per year. Right now, you can get it at $69 with the special rate for 2014.

2. QuickBooks does not allow other software to interface with it. If you purchase ezpaycheck,

- You need to set up company and employees manually

- You do not need to enter the old checks one by one. You can use the YTD feature to enter the summary data only.

- To tracking the running balance in QuickBooks, you can generate the payroll summary report and enter the summary data back to QB manually. Many QuickBooks customers are using ezPaycheck in this way.

4. How to start ezPaycheck in mid year

5. We will email customers for major updates. You can also click the ezPaycheck menu "help->Check for updates" to check the new version. If you purchase ezPaycheck, you can get Paycheck updates for 2014 for free.

Please feel free to contact us if you still have any questions.

Thanks,
Casey

Small Business Payroll & Tax Software Solution
https://www.halfpricesoft.com
Hello-
We own a small business (2-3 employees) and I have been using QB enhanced payroll for years and am getting tired of the high cost of their software. I'm not quite sure how to ask this so bear with me if it doesn't make sense. If I use your software, will it "talk" to my Quickbooks Pro and also the payroll portion that I used to have? Or will I have to manually enter everything in your software? Will it record the payroll transactions in Quickbooks Pro and label it as "Contract Labor" like it does now or will I have to do that manually as well? If there are payroll updates through the year, does it let you know? I hope this makes sense. One more thing, is it $89 for a whole year or just until the end of 2014?

Thank you for your time and look forward to hearing from you soon.

RaeJean
