Each time I select a company file, it says "ezAccounting can't open this account. Make sure that the disk containing the account file isn't write-protected or damaged."

It may be permission issue. Please make sure the current user has enough permissions to access the backup data.

View/Edit permissions.

If you still see this issue, you can ask IT or system administrator in your company to help you check the permissions.
