Halfpricesoft is a fintech company primarily specializing in software for payroll, tax compliance, and check printing. This includes e-file transmission services for various IRS filings and online direct deposit software.

Payments & Fraud Prevention. We currently use PayPal and Authorize.net for payment, analytics, and other business services. They may collect device identifiers to operate/improve their services, including for fraud detection. See their privacy notices: PayPal, Authorize.net (Visa). We may change processors at any time.
We comply with applicable data protection and breach notification laws.
Data Retention
We retain information as necessary for the purposes outlined here, consistent with this section and for a commercially reasonable period thereafter for backup, archival, fraud prevention/detection, or audit purposes, or as permitted by law. Retention aligns with the original purpose of collection and legal obligations (records, disputes, enforcement). We will never retain your information longer than permitted by law.
We determine retention based on the amount, nature, and sensitivity of data; purpose; risk of harm; alternative means; and applicable legal requirements. After the applicable retention period, personal information will be deleted. You may have the right to request earlier deletion.
