On the import 1095c add the Is Corrected field.
Scenario: Client with large number of employees that used the efile with Halfpricesoft had a breakdown in data maintenance in the HR department for covered individuals. They corrected the data in their Payroll and HR system (our software) and used our export for ez1095 option, but the only way to file a correction is to go into each employee in ez1095 and make the corrections and click the Is Corrected. Duplicate work.
We added an incorrected field to the csv to import. They can't just import because it will create duplicates.
So they delete all 1095-c's in ez1095 and then import the corrected data files. However there isn't an ability to map the Is Corrected field. So they still have to find each affected employee and mark them as corrected. . Then I assume they can use the efile again to submit.
I also had them try selecting all employees and then Replacement on the Efile form instead of Correction but when they try to efile with Halfpricesoft it throws the errors in the attached image file. If they would be charged per form again I'm sure they will rather take the correction route.
