I have a question about commissions in the income. Is there any way to input a negative number? What we do is we pay a salary and then a commission, but sometime the commissions are charged back and are negative. I can't seem to find a way to adjust the income to the corrected amount. The same scenario occurs if I have to dock a person for a days wages. I can't input a negative # for that.

Please help.

Thank you.

I think you can use pretax deduction feature. Please try it.

1. You can add a pre-tax deduction (exempt from FICA, federal and state taxes) to handle chargeback commissions.

2. Add a new check and enter the chargeback commission. It will lower your taxable income.

Please try it. If you still have questions, please feel to contact us at services @ halfpricesoft.com. I can write a detailed step by step guide for you.

Thank you.
