Hi,

In restaurant business, Employee have a tip for their service.

In ezpaycheck software, your software doesn't impose a SST (social security tax) and Med (medicare tax) on tip. your software only imposes those tax (ss and med) on regular pay not on tip.

in doing so on your software, Net pay amounts for employee is not right and federal 941 form is not right amount either.

I want you to look and check it. We're considering your software for our business. but it got a concern for that.

thanks.

Tammie

Our software can handle SSN and Medicare tax for tips also.

Please check the screenshot in step 1. Please make sure you did not check any exempt option by mistake there.

Hi,

thanks for your quick respond.

in demo version, it's not stable. Sometimes it's give right amounts, sometimes not for net pay. but it's ok. it's demo version. We hope regular version's going to be ok.

but in 941 form, it's not right amounts appeared on number 2 line. In 941, line 2 has to be total amounts(tip and regular wage). but it show only regular wage not including tips.

please see attachment. It's based on your example on your website. Regular hour rate: $9.5 hours: 10 hrs. tips: $50. Gross $145.00 net $81.01

in 941, it's not right amounts on that form.

thanks,
Tammie

I talked with programmers and they also think it is set up issue. Would you please send us your database file to us? We are glad to check this issue here.

Followings are the steps to send the database file to us.

1. backup your current data to a folder you can access easily (ie: c:/temp) by clicking ezPaycheck top menu "Company->Back up current company".

2. Reply this message and attach the .mdb backup file to us (Some mail server does not allow .mdb file as attachment, please zip this file first if possible.)

***How to zip file****
- Locate the file or folder that you want to zip.
- Press and hold (or right-click) the file or folder, select (or point to) Send to, and then select Compressed (zipped) folder.

We will check this issue as soon as possible.

Thanks,
