I am using the trial version to determine if this payroll software aligns with our needs. More than likely will purchase the software so that we can stop with manual, but need to make sure the first test payroll run is accurate. I need a little assistance as I am trying to set up the company settings. We are new to doing payroll as it has been a manual process moving from 1099 to W2. Need assistance with the State Tax section (OHIO).

Please any assistance would be greatly and highly appreciated.
Please view the answers below.

1. OH state tax
ezPaycheck will calculate OH state tax automatically based on OH tax tables, company settings (ie: monthly or weekly pay) and employee settings (ie: married or single).

Please set up ezPaycheck by following this guide:

OH tax tables

2. You may need to check FUTA and SUTA settings.

ezPaycheck use the default settings for federal and states. Many companies can take credit to pay it at lower rate. If you did not receive the 2023 rate notice by mail from your state office, please contact your state office/IRS office directly to verify the rate.

3. ezPaycheck has been in market for nearly two decades and are trusted by thousands of accountants and businesses.
We will you will like it also.

4. Whenever you need assistance, please feel free to contact us with more details. (ie: how to add 401K deduction, insurance, or how to handle both W2 employee and 1099 contractors or others).

We are glad to assist you as soon as possible.

Thank you,
