ACA ez1095 Software: How to eFile Correction Forms for 1094C

  

This document for any ACA form efilers who need to correct 1094-C only. Do not use this document if you need to file 1095-C form correction.

  • Current ez1095 clients
    • - Please back up original data before you update forms for correction. Do not delete the existing forms! You should update the forms inside ez1095 software to file correction.

  • New ez1095 clients
    • - If you filed 1095C and 1094C with other application, ez1095 can paper print or efile 1094C correction form. To save time, ez1095 can import the form data from the orginal efile document. You can also enter the data manually.

    Step 1: As a precaution, back up your orginal data before you edit form for correction

    If you did not back up data before, you can start ez1095 software then click the top menu "Company Management->Backup Current Company".

    Step 2: Submit 1094-C Correctiion

    2.1 Start ez1095 software


    2.2 Create a new file folder for 1094-C efile document

    ie: you can add a folder under C driver
    C:/1094C correction




    2.3 Open 1094 Form, correct form information




    2.4 Do NOT check the corrected box on any Form 1095-C in this step






    2.5 Generate the efile document





    2.6 Validate XML files and submit files to IRS
