ezPaycheck Payroll Software: How to Edit Employee Tax Options

ezPaycheck payroll program supports flexible tax options. You can use it to handle the paychecks for W2 employees. You can also use it process payments for 1099 contractors, alien employees and clergy members who may have speical tax status easily.

  • 3.1: Start ezPaycheck and view employee set up
  • - Start ezPaycheck application, click the left menu "Employees" then click the sub menu "List Employee" to view employee list.

    - then you can select the target employee from list and edit.

  • 3.2: Click the next button until you see taxes screen
  • For nonprofits and churches that do not need to deduct FICA taxes for clergy members and some employees, you can uncheck Social Security tax and Medicare tax here.

    You can also uncheck all tax options for 1099 contractors.

  • 3.3: Save information
  • Click the Next button and save the employee information.
