I downloaded the software; entered the key and it says “License Install Error”. Note that I have sufficient privileges to install the license.

Efiling User ID is required to efile tax forms to SSA. If you are an accountant, please apply a user ID to efile for your own company and for your clients.

If you do not have W2 efile User ID, you can apply it from SSA site. You can complete the registration form online and submit your information. The information you submit will be verified against SSA records. Upon successful registration, you will have your User ID and password.
