I have conflicting information on whose TCC number to use for the XML file to load to the AIR system. For your program since we are just creating the XML for our clients 1095 forms and uploading them on their behalf do we not have to use their TCC 1095 number? I found information that is you are a software developer or transmitter we can use ours but doing the AIR upload and looking at your software setup I would think we would be using their TCC to attach to their XML file upload instead of our TCC on each clients XML file.

If you are a tax professional, please apply the TCC as a transmitter. Then you can file the ACA forms to IRS for your clients with your TCC and your IRS account.
