How to Reinstall ezPaycheck Mac from Scratch

Step 1: Log in to the computer as an administrator or a user with permissions to install/uninstall programs.


Step 2. Back up the ezPaycheck data folder. (Do not skip this step!!!)

You can copy all the files in this folder to another location, such as a USB disk or cloud storage.

The default data folder for ezPaycheck is:
/users/xxUserNamexxx/Library/Containers/com.tekplus.ezPaycheck/Data/Documents/Halfpricesoft/ezPaycheck/Databases


Step 3. Uninstall ezPaycheck.


Step 4: Delete the following folder.

/users/xxUserNamexxx/Library/Containers/com.tekplus.ezPaycheck/Data/Documents/Halfpricesoft/ezPaycheck/


Step 5: Download and install ezPaycheck Mac version

Note:
- If your computer caches data, please clean your download folder.


Step 6: Quick test: add and print a paycheck.


Step 7: Restore the previous data if needed

Start ezPaycheck payroll software then click the top menu "Company->Backup Current Company". Then select the .dat database file from the backup folder.
