Great. We do a lot of check printing for our clients and used another check printing software which was not flexible at all. Yours is very simple and kind of what we were looking for, so thatís why I am trying to give feedback so you can do it even better.
All I can say is WOW!! I know that I made those suggestions and you had said something about a gift. I honestly didn't think you would take it to this level. I want you to know that is it so nice and( I say that from the bottom of my heart) cause you know that most people would not have even remembered that they said anything about that and would have charged me for the upgrades. Not many customer-servicers have the capacity to look beyond getting a dollar today, I think most would have said, "well, we have his money, and it was HIS choice to buy 2010-only rather than wait until the bug was fixed, so case closed". They would keep my dollar today, but never get another one from me again. You, on the other hand, now have my loyatly (though perhaps not much for me to buy from you, haha)

QuickBooks Check Printing: Can not find check number errorQuestion: I want to print directly from QuickBooks, I downloaded everything correctly, after choosing in QB the ezcheckprinting driver anew screen opens up to choose the account and printer, when I clock ok I'm getting the below error "Error in finding check numbers", please advise.
Solution: Please try the steps below:
Step 1: Please make sure you are using the latest version ezCheckPrinting software and virtual printer. - You can check ezCheckPrinting version by clicking ezCheckPrinting top menu "help", then click "About ezCheckPrinting".
- You can check virtual Printer version from "control panel" then "Programs and features".
- You can check the current latest version from ezCheckPrinting download page.
If you are using the old versions, please
- Back up your data first
- Uninstall ezCheckPrinting and virtual printer
- Download the latest ezCheckPrinting and virtual printer. Run ezCheckPrinting at least once before you print QuickBooks checks.
Step 2: Check your bank account name
The account database name should looks like "BankXYZ" or "Bank 1234". Do not use special characters in the account name. Some customers reported their systems could not recognize the special characters after they updated their system.
If you have speical characters in account name, you can rename it by:
- Click the top menu "Accounts->Duplicate Current Account"
- CLick the top menu "Accounts->Select account" to switch the current account
Then print a check from this account. If it works, you can goto step 4.
Step 3: Print a test check from ezCheckPrinting software
Please start ezCheckPrinting, add a new test account with dummy data, add a new check and print a check. You can add a new account by clicking the top menu "Account" then click "New Account". You can use the "Test1234" as the new account name. You need to use a real printer to print check in this step.
If this step works, continue. Otherwise, please contact us for support.
step 4: Please start QuickBooks and print a check from Quickbooks through Virtual Printer. You should select the same account you used in last step. If this works, continue. Otherwise, go to step 5 to contact us.
Step 5: If you have multiple accounts, please try to print QuickBooks checks from different account. If you can print check in step 4 but you see problem with some account, the account database file is crashed. You need to create a new account inside ezCheckPrinting and stop using the old one.
Step 5: Contact us If you see any error in Step 2 and 3, you can contact us at "services @ halfpricesoft.com"
