Why ezTimeSheet Software Suddenly Stopped Working

Reason 1: The ezTimeSheet desktop shortcut is broken

Solution 1: Start ezTimeSheet from program folder

We noticed some customers could not run ezTimeSheet because the desktop shortcut was broken. You can also start this ezTimeSheet software from program folder

The default program folder is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Halfpricesoft\ezTimeSheet

You can double click ezTimeSheet.exe file to run it. (If your system hides extension, you just double click ezTimeSheet). If it works, you can delete the old desktop shortcut and follow this article to create a new shortcut on desktop.

Reason 2: Settings file is crashed

Solution 2: Create a new settings file

The default database folder is:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Halfpricesoft\ezTimeSheet

2.1 Copy settings.xml to other location as a backup
2.2 Remove settings.xml from this folder

2.3 start ezTimeSheet to generate the new settings file. ezTimeSheet will start in trial mode and you need to enter the key code again. (You can find the key code in your email account that you used for this order)

Reason 3: ezTimeSheet application is crashed

Solution 3: Reinstall ezTimeSheet

3.1 As a precaution, back up ezTimeSheet data first

3.2 Uninstall ezTimeSheet

3.3 Download ezTimeSheet

Reason 4: Current user does not have enough permission to run ezTimeSheet and access data

Solution 4: Give current user permission to run ezTimeSheet and access data
