Thank you for your prompt and excellent support. Not many customer-servicers have the capacity to look beyond getting a dollar today, I think most would have said, "well, we have his money, and it was HIS choice to buy 2010-only rather than wait until the bug was fixed, so case closed". They would keep my dollar today, but never get another one from me again. You, on the other hand, now have my loyatly (though perhaps not much for me to buy from you, haha)
If you don't have a sincere desire to help others, you should not be in "CUSTOMER service", eh?

Yes.
2. What are the System Requirements for ez1099?
Windows 98, 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, 7 32-bit or 64 bit, .Net Framework v2.0 or later
3. I am using XP machine with .net framework 1.0. Where I can find .net framework 2.0?
You can download .net framework from microsoft web site and installed it on your machine. The .net framework 1.1, 2.0, 3.0 or later can coexist. They are installed in separate directories. The Microsoft runtime will figure out the proper version to use for the different applications. So if you have 1.0 version on your machine, you can still install the newer version.
Following is the download link of Microsoft .net Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable package.

Backup & Restore
1. I am ez1099 2010 user. Can I copy last year's data to ez1099 2011 folder?
Yes, you can copy your 2010 databae file to your 2011 application folder.
Followings are the steps.
1. Install ez1099 2011 first.
2. Start ez1099 2010
3. Backup database file to ez1099 2011 folder by clicking the top menu "Backup current company".
The default ez1099 2011 folder is:
C:\Program Files\Halfpricesoft\ez1099(2011)
4. Select this new database file as your current database file by clicking the top menu "Select Company".
5. You can edit your data there and print your new forms.
2. I just bought a new machine. How can I move my ez1099 2010 to my new machine?
You can back up the data to USB disk then copy the data to the application folder on the new machine. Check the following link for more details.
