How to Set Up State Unemployment Tax

ezPaycheck payroll software estimates the SUTA (state unemployment tax) based on your set up. Some companies may be able to take credit to pay unemployment tax at lower rate. Most state offices will mail employers the new rate for next year in Dec. You can also call them to find your rate. Please enter your rate correctly, so you can reserve the fund amount correctly.

Do not worry If you entered a higher rate or a lower rate by mistake. You still have the chance to correct it when you file the tax form to make deposit.
