ezW2Correction: How to backup data

ezW2Correction helps customers paper print, PDF print and efile W2C and W3C forms easily. Here is the step by step about data backup.

  • Option 1: Use ezW2Correction database backup feature if you are a small business employer
  • Option 2: Backup multiple accounts manually if you are a CPA or tax professionals or if you have multiple accounts

    ezW2Correction software is compatible with Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, 7, 2003 Vista and other Windows computers.

    Option #1: For small business employers

    - Open ezW2Corrrection application on your machine and insert your USB disk if you want to backup data to USB.

    - Click the top menu "Management->Backup current company", you will see the "Enter backup file name" form. You can click the triangle button behind "Save in" field to change the current path. You can modify the back up new file name as you like.

    - Once you click the Save button, you will save your current database file to the new location.



    Option #2: For CPAs

    The database file is .mdb file.

    The default ezW2Correction data folder is:
    C:\Program Files\Halfpricesoft\ezW2Correction(201x)


    ie: for ezW2Correction 2015, it is ezW2Correction(2015)

    You can COPY all .mdb files to other folder or a flash disk or external hard driver or cloud storage space.

    Note: Do NOT remove the .mdb files from the current data folder!!!
