I printed QuickBooks check on blank stock via ezCheckrinting virtual printer. The top check is printed perfectly but stubs are not printed at the right position. The middle stub is printed about one line higher and the bottom stub is two line higher.
Solution
Step 1: Please check your printer properties to make sure it prints check at 100% size by default. ***
- Do not select "Fit to paper" option
- Do not select "Border" option. You should choose Borderless if your printer supports border feature.
- Do not select "Auto Scale" feature. You should always print at 100% size (actual size or real size).
Step 2: ezCheckPrinting prints the stub based on the printing position commands it receives from QuickBooks. Usually you can adjust check margin value inside QuickBooks to print stubs lower/higher to fix this issue.
2.1 Start QuickBooks, Go to File, Printer setup, Checks, click align and play with the vertical adjustment
2.2 To verify, you can print the QB check data only on a blank stock with a real physical printer (not QB virtual printer).
2.3 If you can print check data and stubs directly from QB on paper with a real printer with no alignment issue, try to print a check from QuickBooks with ezCheckPrinting QB virtual printer again.
